Woldingham School, part of the world-wide network of Sacred Heart Catholic Schools, is situated in a beautiful valley of some 320 hectares in Surrey, near Oxted. It is only 25km from London, close to the M25 motorway. Gatwick is under 30 minutes away and Heathrow 45 minutes. Direct trains from London Victoria to Woldingham station take 30 minutes.
The school is situated in extensive grounds, just 3km from the village of Woldingham. Marden House, the junior house, is purpose-built. It offers accommodation, classrooms, IT suites, a dining hall, library and a spacious hall, where most indoor social activities take place, all under one roof. There is a modern arts centre and a state-of-the-art auditorium/DVD cinema for evening entertainment.
Indoor sports take place in the modern sports centre. There is also an indoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, astroturf and grass pitches for football and other sports.
We offer an intensive, truly multi-national programme. and a chance to meet English children.
- 30 lessons of average 45 minutes (22.5 hours per week) including English Skills and English Workshops (e.g. Discovery TV, IT/Magazine, Photo Stories, United Nations, Mask-making, Music and song, Drama, Cooking)

- The Trinity Exam in Spoken English is offered (weeks 2 and 4). It is optional, but highly recommended.
- A wide variety of sports and activities offered 7 days a week
- Afternoon club sessions (e.g. Arts & Crafts, IT, Cooking)
- 1 full-day and 1 half-day excursion per week (e.g. London, Thorpe Park, Brighton, Guildford - ice-skating, Leeds Castle).
- Special Sports Options - Horse-riding and Tennis (at extra cost).

- Staff/student 1:4 ensuring a high degree of care and very close supervision
- Cheerful dormitories (separated by curtains) with beds/bunkbeds, sleep 2-6
